Studio Liselot Cobelens and Bureau Streekk collaborated for the municipality of Maashorst on the development of a new, unifying language of landscapes. "Illuminating Landscapes" showcases the impact of climate change and the urgency of speaking a shared language.

For the installation, we collaborated with Bureau Streek to explore how local and well-known Maashorsters perceive the challenges in their own landscape. These interviews are compiled in a booklet, and the stories are also featured in the installation on various blocks around the carpet.

We spoke with IVN, the local history circle, an innovative farmer, and an organic farmer about their challenges. All their wishes and the typical features they expressed have also been included on two banners.
